I was a bit skeptical that this tour would be worth the cost, but it was. Dom is so knowledgeable
about Croatian food culture, history, and olive oil specifically, and the tour was so well
choreographed. I'd done an olive oil tasting before, but this one was more thorough and
informative. The wines were all fantastic, the food was great (I certainly would not have tasted
castrated rooster on my own), and the locations were stunning. Dubrovnik can be overwhelming
because of the crowds, but this tour felt intimate and peaceful, both because of the locations and
because Dom created such a lovely and friendly atmosphere for us.

This was honestly our highlight of our trip! Dom was incredibly friendly, kind and
knowledgeable. He blew our minds over extra virgin olive oil and will be taste testing all olive
oil using his trick moving forwards. We did our tour 1 to 1 and thought initially it might be
awkward and, but actually it couldn’t have been any better. He was so passionate about food and
drink and carefully selected amazing Dubrovnik dishes. The food was honestly sensational. He
politely told us about each dish as we were eating and gave us interesting and valuable
information about history and culture. This was the perfect end to my fiancées birthday. He should be so proud of this tour he’s created. It’s magical. 10/10

For anyone visiting Dubrovnik, this experience is a MUST! Dom was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but the most amazing part was his palpable passion for wine, olive oil, and food. I had spent a few weeks around Europe doing multiple experience and tours, and this was by far the best I had done. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting — you get to try incredible Croatian foods, some of the best wines in the world, and true extra virgin olive oil. A once in a lifetime experience!

Dom is so knowledgeable and passionate about olive oil, wine, and his home town, Dubrovnik. My father and I will remember this experience for a long time to come. We anticipated great olive oil, food, and wine; however, Dom expertly wove the history of Dubrovnik into all of his pairings leaving us both satiated and with a fuller understanding of the city around us by the end of the night. Loved this little fellowship! Felt like reuniting with an old friend. Conversation included history, tradition, local stories and an abbreviated agricultural vineyard and olive tree lesson. The traditional dishes paired wine were extraordinary. Would highly recommend!

Domagoj was lovely and everything was very well thought out!! He was so passionate about olive oil and the city; he was able to answer all our questions and more!! I loved how he approached the wine tastings especially as some one with little experience with tasting it was super approachable but I learned so much! I would definitely suggest it to anyone coming who loves food, wine and history 🙂

This was a fun experience on a rainy afternoon. Dom’s olive oil tasting lesson changed our way of thinking about olive oil and we were able to put what we learnt into practice during our Dubrovnik stay. Dom talked about history from a food perspective and we were able to taste many wines with food pairings. I particularly enjoyed the meals prepared using 16th century recipes. The waiters in the restaurants were very attentive and we felt like royalty! Thanks for a wonderful tour, Dom.

Amazing tour with a super knowledgeable host. Book it early in your trip, as Domagoj has a wealth of information about the local area and history in addition to the wine and olive oil. Finding this out this early on will pay dividends for the remainder of the trip, cutting through some of the more generic tourist experiences.

This is an absolutely fantastic food tour and well worth the money. Dom is so passionate about Dubrovnik, its history and culture, as well as its olive oil, food and wine. He is a great story teller. The wines and food choices are excellent. Very carefully and thoughtfully chosen by Dom. At the end of the evening we were on a high after all the good food and wine as well as great company. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Dom was a fantastic host and guide. Clearly he knows the local gastronomic scene well, and he has thoughtfully chosen a great set of plates and matching wines along with olive oil and desert in 4 different locations. The format was oil, followed by 2 seafood plates with matching wines in the first restaurant, then 2 meat plates and wine at the second and then dessert at a nearby patisserie. Dom has a depth of knowledge of the local history that he shared along the way. Best of all he is formally educated in oil and wine production techniques and is passionate about the local produce. I highly recommend!

Incredible trip! The title undersells it - in addition to the Olive Oil tasting we had a multi-course food and wine tour and got a history overview of the city. The food, wine, and olive oil was delicious and Domagoj was incredible to spend time with. 10/10 recommend!

We had a lovely time on our wine, food, and olive oil tour with Dom! He is super knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is not a typical food tour where you get small bites here and there, this is a full 4 course dinner + dessert comprised of wine and food pairings at different locations. We did this the first night we arrived in Dubrovnik and would highly recommend!

Dom was super friendly and happy to answer all our nerdy questions. We had high expectations due to his PHD studies, and he lived up to - and exceeded them. The oil tasting was a new skill for us, and the pairings were great wines and real good food (not just snacks). Highly recommend - we want to do the tour again next time we come into town (he told us he has some new ideas for next season).

Wow.Wow. Wow!! This was the best tour I have ever enjoyed! We learned so much and enjoyed the company of 4 others from around the world. The food was exceptional and plenty to satisfy our need for dinner! Be sure to be hungry- these a full sized servings and full pours of delicious wines. The area we explored was beautiful and captivating. Well worth the cost and efforts!!

This was an incredible experience learning about and tasting olive oils, wines and classic Croatian dishes with a true wine connoisseur. Dom's stories about the wines and food were fascinating, and the tasting portions were absolutely delicious. Dom himself was very friendly and easygoing, and you could tell that he genuinely wanted to get to know his guests. Certainly one of my highlights of the trip, and a must-do experience in Dubrovnik!

Don't hesitate in booking this experience! I read through the multitude of different wine/food experiences and their reviews and decided on Dom's based on his expertise. I was happy I made this decision. We started out with some history of Croatia, olive oil tasting, and then lastly the wine tasting. We visited two restaurants and ate some delicious food paired with those wines. We ended with a yummy visit to a gelateria. In total, we ate four entrees, drank four glasses of wine, and ended with said gelato. Definitely enter this tour hungry because I was stuffed afterwards:) Dom was a great host and we enjoyed his company and conversation during this tour. Book this tour!!!

The best food and history tour ever! I've never had so much fun on tour. Dom made it easy and very knowledgeable about the city, wine and olive oil.
The restaurants were great and the portions generous. The wine pairing was perfect and we even tasted and discussed the olive oil which was a new experience for me.I thoroughly enjoyed the tour for both the historical content and the tastings.
Do this tour on day one so you know what to eat and drink for the rest of the trip. But anyway, don't miss it!

We had a fantastic time on this tour! Dom is so friendly and so knowledgeable. It was a really enjoyable experience, walking through the Old Town and learning about and sampling extra virgin olive oils and beautiful wines, accompanied by very tasty dishes, and gelato at the end! (yes, you will get enough food!) Dom checked in with us before the tour to check if we'd any allergies, perferences etc. and when I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary he even looked into places we could go to ourselves after the tour. So helpful! He also followed up after the tour, sending on a list of the places we'd visited and the olive oils/wines we'd had. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Okay y’all. If you’re going to go on any tour in Dubrovnik, make sure it’s this one. Dom really knows what he’s talking about and has done an incredible job curating a unique cultural and culinary experience. You get the perfect amount of pertinent historical background before tasting incredible olive oil and seeing the coolest parts of the old town. The food and wine pairings at each restaurant are amazing - I was completely in the dark when it came to Croatian wines but Dom introduced me to several wines that instantly became new favorites (here’s hoping I’ll be able to find them back home). If you’re visiting Dubrovnik for any amount of time, make sure to put this tour at the top of your list.

Best tour we have ever taken (we've done at least 5 in different cities. We will book again when we visit next.
The food and wine were top shelf and Dom, our guide, was able to set the context of what we were eating and drinking in the historical (and modern) context of Dubrovnik. He knows his olive oil, wine, and food. And he should, he's writing a PhD in wine!
